I’m sharing here a podcast interview with Amandine, from her podcast, where we dive deep into how AI is revolutionizing entrepreneurship. In this conversation, I explore my journey from salsa dancing and coaching to launching AI tools like OneTake AI, share practical strategies for growing multiple businesses, and discuss the challenges and opportunities technology presents today. Below the video, you’ll find an article that recaps the main lessons from our interview.
When I look back at my journey, I see a path full of pivots, lessons, and discoveries. I started with a technical education, aimed to become a computer scientist, but life led me to explore human-centric ventures like dance schools and coaching. All these experiences taught me valuable lessons about innovation, resilience, and the importance of understanding both people and technology.
I studied at Centrale, initially wanting to become a computer scientist. That technical foundation has always stayed with me, but early on, I became an entrepreneur in a completely different domain: Latin dance. I opened a dance school, and while I no longer teach, I still dance salsa regularly. This mix of technical and human skills has informed everything I do as an entrepreneur.
After my dance school, I became a seduction coach and mentor, working with hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs globally. I created the Free Entrepreneurs movement in 2010, supporting over 300,000 entrepreneurs across 41 countries. This experience gave me visibility and a deep understanding of the entrepreneurial mindset, especially the challenges and failures that come with starting and growing a business.
In 2021, I embarked on a new adventure: creating OneTake AI, an AI-powered video editing agent. My goal was to solve a common problem for experts—coaches, trainers, creators—who struggle to create polished video content. I wanted to bridge the gap between their expertise and the technical skills required to present it professionally online.
OneTake AI began as an idea in April 2021, and by the end of that year, we were actively building the platform. Raising a million dollars from thirty-three investors confirmed the belief in our vision. I always aim to anticipate future trends, and when I saw AI emerging as a transformative technology, I knew it would be critical for creators and entrepreneurs.
Before ChatGPT launched, I had already started experimenting with AI in 2021. The challenge was that most people viewed AI as “science fiction” at that point. We positioned ourselves ahead of the wave, making it simpler for people to understand and adopt AI tools.
Every market goes through phases: too early, too late, and just right. When we began, AI video editing wasn’t widely understood. People thought, “It’s too early” or “I’ve missed the wave.” My experience with early chatbot experiments taught me the importance of timing and persistence. The technical gap that prevents experts from producing video content is temporary—it can be solved with AI.
Looking back, my early ventures were full of trial and error. From programming a chatbot twenty years ago that fooled users into thinking they were chatting with a person, to navigating my first internet businesses, every failure taught me resilience and the importance of understanding user needs. Those mistakes molded me into an entrepreneur capable of identifying real problems and building solutions.
The key to success is adaptation. AI isn’t just another tool; it’s a powerful enabler. Entrepreneurs who embrace it and learn how to communicate with AI effectively gain a tremendous advantage. For instance, learning to craft prompts for AI is not just technical—it’s about expressing your vision, translating your expertise, and making sure your ideas reach their full potential.
AI is a true equalizer. People without deep technical skills can achieve more by leveraging AI intelligently. With OneTake AI, you can send a raw video and get a polished result: noise reduction, music, subtitles, translations, and even lip-syncing for multiple languages. It’s like having a team of experts at your disposal without the overhead.
Throughout my career, I’ve mentored and coached countless entrepreneurs. Teaching others not only spreads knowledge but also refines your own understanding. AI fits naturally into this process, amplifying human skills rather than replacing them.
The vision behind OneTake AI was simple: remove the burden of editing for creators and business leaders. Most editing tools require learning, repetition, and effort. OneTake AI acts as an agent that understands the creator’s intent, delivering a professional result with minimal intervention. By combining my technical background, coaching experience, and understanding of human behavior, I built a platform that helps others succeed while preserving their authenticity.
Entrepreneurship is about continuous learning. Mistakes, failures, and pivots are part of the journey. The integration of AI accelerates this learning and empowers creators to focus on what matters most: sharing expertise, connecting with audiences, and growing their business. OneTake AI is just the beginning—our goal is to continue providing tools that expand human potential while keeping technology accessible and ethical.
